I really enjoyed this short length book. Cathy Freeman has written her personal story in an absorbing manner that gives a great insight into her personality.
My very favorite Raggedy Ann story is this story which introduces Betsy Bonnet String, the Geewhiliker and the Fuzzywump!
I found this book to be magical.
Might and Power is a New Zealand bred horse, foaled in 1993, Australian trained and owned thoroughbred racehorse, who was named Australian Horse of the Year in 1998 and 1999.
Yes, most of them are children’s stories, but they are what I really loved reading and they inspired me to write, especially the horse stories by Elyne Mitchell and the Trixie Belden series. I LOVED reading then as I do now.
When money tries to buy beauty, love, knowledge, connection, and so forth, either the buyer receives a counterfeit, or the seller, having sold the infinitely precious for a finite sum, is exploited. It is really quite simple; as the Beatles put it, “Money can’t buy you love.”
Without giving too much away, this book contains a huge amount of information about religious violence toward women during the 1500s in Spain, and then later in the 2000s based upon men’s assertion of power over women.
