I found this book entrancing and intriguing to read, and David writes very clearly and simply with a fast moving narrative and no redundancy, so that his words paint vivid pictures or images.
Yes, most of them are children’s stories, but they are what I really loved reading and they inspired me to write, especially the horse stories by Elyne Mitchell and the Trixie Belden series. I LOVED reading then as I do now.
This wonderful story is sprinkled with amazing forest creatures, with whom you feel as though you are right there with them as this gripping tale un-folds.
This book is fabulous and hard to put down. I like how the author writes in a spiritual way and shows appreciation of and kinship with the Octopus.
Magical – if there was only one word I could use to describe this adventure set out so articulately and heartfeltly by Dion Leonard, this is it.
Gobi a little dog with a big heart stars in this wonderful colourful picture book.
This book brings to my mind the creed about having a “seed of faith” – with the coming of Bob the cat, a seed of faith in Jame’s own humanity and in normalcy for both Bob and himself, was sown.
